Description:

The Nassau Transfer Station provides a convenient facility for residents to dispose of trash and most recyclables.  Specific instructions for transfer station users are available under the Programs/Activities link.

Here is a note from the Supervisor:

Dear Nassau Resident:

The Town of Nassau is always looking for ways to improve our services to the residents of our great town.

I would like to encourage you to contact my office with any suggestions you may have for the administration of the Transfer Station.   You may reach me during the week at Town Hall, 766-3559.

The Transfer Station is run in a way that incurs the least amount of expense for our residents but achieves the highest rate of convenience and recycling in our role as stewards of Nassau.

I hope you will take a few moments to review these guidelines as some rules have been clarified and changed in 2007.

Thank you for helping Nassau recycle!

Best regards,

David F. Fleming, Jr.

Nassau Supervisor
